Help local families this holiday season through Feast for Families

Join your neighbors and colleagues with support from the West Palm Beach Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) and South End Neighbors (SENA) to collect a Feast for Families in need this Thanksgiving Holiday.

Schools this drive will help:

Belvedere Elementary, Conniston Middle School, Forest Hill High School, South Olive Elementary, UB Kinsey Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary

Each of these schools have identified 40 families in need who will all receive a Thanksgiving basket brimming with a Publix turkey and all the fixings. The schools participate by holding a food drive to collect the suggested dry and canned supplies.

Unfortunately for some of these schools, the needs of the students and their families outweigh their ability to donate. Therefore we need YOUR help to ensure that each one of these children and their families have a Happy Thanksgiving! The following is a list of suggested items to gather:

  • Cans of Gravy
  • Canned sweet potatoes
  • Canned cranberries
  • Canned corn
  • Marshmallows
  • Muffin mix
  • Instant mashed potatoes (box)
  • Canned green beans
  • Canned carrots
  • Boxed stuffing
  • Cornbread mix
  • Apple cider in plastic

Donations can be dropped off at any of these participating businesses by Nov. 14

  • Bar Louie
  • E.R. Bradley’s
  • Subculture Coffee
  • L.A. Vinas
  • Mediterranean Market
  • The Sanctuary

If you are unable to make a donation, please consider one of the many volunteer  opportunities such as sorting of donated items, making of baskets or delivering of baskets to  schools.
