No child should go hungry in America. But 1 in 6 kids will face hunger this year. No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger through effective programs that provide kids with the food they need. This is a problem No Kid Hungry know how to solve.
For the sixth year, Tommy Bahama is partnering with the No Kid Hungry campaign to fight childhood hunger in America. Guests visiting any Tommy Bahama restaurant, full priced U.S. retail store or outlet location as well tommybahama.com throughout the month of September will be given the opportunity to make a $5 donation to No Kid Hungry. As an expression of gratitude for the donation, guests will receive a $20 promotional award card redeemable October 1st– October 31st at any Tommy Bahama restaurant, full-priced store, outlet location or tommybahama.com.
Donations ensure that every child gets the necessary nourishment they need to grow strong and learn. Through the generosity of their retail, restaurant and ecommerce guests, Tommy Bahama, raised enough to provide up to 1.8 million meals for No Kid Hungry in 2017. This year, guests are once again invited to take part and help to ensure that every child has healthy food by making a $5 donation.
All funds generated are used to raise awareness about child hunger in the U.S., create public-private partnerships that align kids with the resources they need and support nutrition programs such as school breakfast and summer meals.

Can you believe that West Palm Beach brewery has only been open since February? They have not even seen an entire season yet throughout the summer they have continued to be the “happening place” in downtown.
Joel’s solid & creative beers, and Chef Andrew’s delicious oven-baked food are awesome, and the epic events that are put on are second to none. On Saturday, August 25th the tradition continues with Polish Craft Beer Day
The highlight of the night is Jan Lewan, “The Polka King” playing as well as Alex Meixner Band, a nationally acclaimed musician and accordion player!
I met Jan a few weeks ago at Clematis by Night. He is an unassuming & friendly guy with one hell of a story.
I’ll let him tell you his story, or you can watch Jack Black portray him in the recent movie, now on Netflix.
There will be Polish vendors to fill your stomachs with deliciously authentic bites. Taste of Europe Deli, a local European market, will be providing Pierogies, Kielbasa and Kapusta!
And check out the craft beer options:
AUTHENTIC POLISH & BELGIAN BEER:
D&V International, a premier importer of specialty beers from Belgium and Poland, will be at our event with a tent, giveaways, and of course, beer!
They’ll be pouring Polish Beers/Ciders by Browar Fortuna: Apple Cider, Pear Cider, Mirabelle fruit Beer, Komes Baltic Porter, and Piwo z Grodziska!
-They’ll ALSO be pouring two Belgian beers: The St Bernardus Abt 12 and St Bernardus Wit!
TWO NEW WEST PALM BREWERY BEERS:
West Palm Beach Brewery owner, John, grew up in a Polish household. New beers for the event are named after two of his uncles: who were beer lovers, WWII veterans, and active members of the Polish American community.
UNCLE STASH’S IMPERIAL STOUT: A Rich & thick Stout made with rolled oats, chocolate malts and roasted barley
UNCLE MITCHS ALE:A hop forward, full-bodied IPA with notes of lemon, papaya and melon
