Clematis Update: Get Ready for the Palm Beach Boat Show!

Happy Friday! I’ll try to keep this short, but there is so much going on in the next few weeks that it’s going to take a few mintues to go through everything. Thanks for bearing with me.

Work is progressing well on both the Duffy’s and World of Beer locations on Clematis. Both of these new venues will be opening within the next few weeks. I’ll make sure to keep you up to date on how things are coming along. This week we saw the “temporary” closure of two business on Clematis: Maine Cottage and Mambo’s Italianos both closed their doors. The Palm Beach Post has a good article on the mysterious closing of Maine Cottage.

This week preparation started on Flagler for the Palm Beach Boat Show. Like last year, it looks like the big tent will go up on the Waterfront Commons, and Flagler will be closed. If you haven’t been to the boat show, plan to come (March 24th – 28th). It’s a lot of fun! To see pics from last year’s boatshow please check out my coverage.

If you haven’t yet planned your Saturday night, I suggest you start out at The Blind Monk on Evernia which will be celebrating its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony.and other festivities. RSVP here for the event!

Thursday is St. Patricks Day which, like every year, is pretty crazy on Clematis. Oshae’s is having a pre-Paddy’s Day party this weekend, which will feature Irish music and festivities all weekend long.

And finally, if you’re looking for something special to spruce up your kitchen/dining area, you may be interested in checking out Kim Seybert’s Table Linen Fashion Show between 2 and 4pm on Tuesday (the 15th) at Pioneer Linen’s.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Best regards,
aGuyonClematis
