It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas…

For being in South Florida in 70-something degree weather (if you’re lucky), West Palm Beach makes a fabulous place to celebrate the holidays. This is thanks in a large part to the huge amount of work that the city puts into it’s FREE events around the holiday season.

Here’s your official holiday schedule, followed by some of my notes below.

Sand Sculptures

The first Sand Sculptures hit Clematis Street with a 110 ton in the City Hall courtyard. And numerious other sand sculptures in stores around the Downtown area.

In 2012 the game was upped and Sandi, the massive sand Christmas Tree appeared on the waterfront.

This year Sandi has gained an additional 100 Tons and is being built on the Waterfront.

Polar Express on December 13th.

During the Polar Express event the City Hall courtyard turns into Santa’s Workshop, complete with games, toy building, candy, reindeer, the Polar Express trolly and of course Santa.

The Polar Express is thrown by the Mandel Public Library in West Palm Beach, and is a great event for the whole family.

Also on December the 13th will be Screen on the Green, with a Double Feature!

Enjoy a Movie after Riding the Polar Express!
