The Breakers, the operators of Phillips Point Club, Top of the Point Restaurant and Phillips Point Café just sent out an email to their members notifying them that as of March 16th the Club at the top of Phillips Point will close.
We have recently been advised by Colonnade Properties, which owns and manages the Phillips Point property that they have entered into a new, long-term lease for the east tower’s penthouse level, the space currently occupied by Phillips Point Club (PPC) and Top of the Point Restaurant. Due to these circumstances, regrettably, Phillips Point Club, Top of the Point Restaurant and Phillips Point Café will cease operations and terminate all memberships effective Sunday, March 16, 2014.
To minimize any inconvenience to our members, The Breakers will extend special dining privileges throughout our restaurant collection* to PPC members for the remainder of the 2013-2014 membership year (August 31, 2014), and will also offer exclusive, preferred rates and fees for those who wish to explore membership opportunities at either The Breakers Ocean Club or Breakers West Country Club.
In the interim, rest assured that Phillips Point Club will remain fully operational until the mid-March closure date, and we encourage you to continue enjoying the benefits and privileges of your membership at the Club and Top of the Point, until that time.
While we are saddened by the recent developments and despite the success of Phillips Point Club and Top of the Point Restaurant, we respect that Colonnade has an excellent business opportunity and responsibility to optimize this coveted office space.
If you have any questions, please contact Loren Glenn in the Membership Office at 561.832.2024. On behalf of the entire team at Phillips Point Club, it has been an honor and pleasure serving you during the past five years, and we are extremely grateful for your unwavering support and loyalty to the Club.
