Whatcha Getting Into This Week?

If you’re into the classic soulful sounds of Motown, then you’re in for a treat on Tuesday as Motown the Musical is coming to the Kravis Center. It’s the true American dream story of Motown founder Berry Gordy’s journey to heavyweight music mogul who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson and many more. Performances start on February 9th and last until the 14th. Tickets start at $27. Fore more info, check here.

Also at the Kravis Center is PostSecret: The Show on Wednesday and Thursday about this thing we call life. PostSecret: The Show is a visual, auditory and emotional journey through the beauty and complication of life. With projected images and video, three actors guide the audience through a narrative of the stories sourced from over a million anonymous and artful secrets mailed on postcards to artist, curator and internet phenomenon Frank Warren, making PostSecret.com one of the world’s top blogs. This candid presentation reveals that you are not alone. Tickets are $30.  Check here for more info.

And then it’s time for Art After Dark’s 75th Birthday on Thursday at 5!
