Artist Application Deadline for Canvas Local Showdown is Saturday!

Last year the first CANVAS local showdown rocked Northwood Village. Amanda Valdes, Eduardo Mendieta, Amauri Torezan, Diana Contreras, Mark Rupprecht, Jay Bellicchi, Paul Hughes all contributed and at Arthouse 429 and created some great work.

This year Local showdown is scheduled for Friday, November 11, 2016. The CANVAS Local Showdown will call attention to one of the oldest neighborhoods in West Palm Beach through a central theme of “connection” – what that means to an artist and to the world that experiences their art – expressed through site-specific contemporary art murals.

Proposal process has been open since June 1st, and July 30th (THIS SATURDAY) is the last day to get your proposals in. So, if you have been fine tuning your application, better wrap it up and fire it off!
