Give an underprivileged child in Palm Beach County a season to remember. Pick an angel ornament from the Angel Tree outside of Guest Services. Each angel has a child’s holiday wish list on the reverse side. After completing your shopping for these presents, bring the unwrapped gifts back to Guest Services for CityPlace staff to return to The Salvation Army for distribution. Julie Budd Remembering … Mr. Sinatra at Kravis Center for the Performing Arts

Praised as a “consummate performer” by The New York Times, Julie Budd was invited to sing with Frank Sinatra at Caesars Palace when she was just 16. The versatile vocalist has also amazed audiences alongside Danny Thomas, Liberace, Marvin Hamlisch and more. She honors Ol’ Blue Eyes with songs from her latest album, Remembering … Mr. Sinatra, including All the Way and The Best is Yet to Come. $99 for the six-show package. Photo Salon with Barry Schein at Armory Art Center

Photo salons are a unique gathering place to showcase and talk about your photography, meet other photographers, and discuss what’s new and happening in the world of photography. Moreover, photo salons present artists an opportunity to share their photographic experiences and to get positive, constructive feedback. Award winning professional photographer and instructor, Barry Schein, will be facilitating the salon. Please bring no more than five digital or print photographs. Jazz Combos Concert at Dreyfoos School of the Arts

Head to Meyer Hall at Dreyfoos School of the Arts to see the nationally recognized music department’s Jazz Combos Concert from 6:30–8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors 55+ and $5 for students and children. This class will be held at 7 p.m. at 510 Evernia Street. $20 Tuesday only applies to online registration. Cost at the door will be the regular $25. Choose your own colors. Youth Members Meetup Night at Palm Beach Photographic Centre

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…. to take night photography. Shane and Jennifer will lead a photo walk to the end of Clematis where you will get to photograph Sandi Land. Sandi is a 35 foot tall 600 ton holiday tree made of sand and strung with over 5,000 sparkling lights. Learn how to use your exposure times to capture the sparkling lights. RSVP to hold your spot. Historical Walking Tour of Worth Avenue

The walking tours of Worth Avenue begin this Wednesday and will take place every Wednesday at 11:00am. Participants gather at 256 Worth Avenue (across from Tiffany & Co). It costs $10 to participate and this year, the net proceeds of the tours will go to The Garden Club of Palm Beach. This is a great tour for visitors or for people who want to learn more about Palm Beach’s colorful history.

Lunch on the Shore

No lunch plans. No problem! Now thru February 2018, bring your friends and co-workers to Flagler Shore every Wednesday for “Lunch on the Shore”. From 12-2 p.m., bring your own lunch or pre-order food from our downtown restaurants to have it delivered at Flagler Shore through Delivery Dudes, Cravy and UberEats. Very few people can take credit for revolutionizing a major wine region. New York-based, Grammy-nominated bassist Melvin Gibbs and saxophonist Stephon Alexander, who is also a Brown
University physicist and author of The Jazz of Physics, will perform After Nature: Auralizations of the Anthropocene – the music inspired by Justin Guariglia’s art in Earth Works.

Winter Tapestry 2017 at Kravis Center for the Performing Arts

Celebrate the Holiday Season and celebrate their 15th Anniversary Season with the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches. This highly acclaimed children’s choir continually dazzles audiences with their experienced voices and high level of choral performance.

This year’s holiday concert, Winter Tapestry 2017, will envelop you in the spirit of the season. The music selected weaves together many cultures and traditions to form one tapestry. Both familiar favorites and sacred Christmas songs combine with Hanukkah and global holiday music in this concert of unity.

It’s that time of year again to celebrate the holidays with family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and whoever else you plan on celebrating with.  This event is set up by volunteers so any money made from this event is for the benefit of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Please feel free to invite as many people as possible. Last year we had nearly 500 Santas and we are hoping to increase that amount again this year!

98 Degrees at Christmas at Kravis Center for the Performing Arts

One of the original boy bands of the late 1990s, Grammy-nominated 98 Degrees has sold 10 million albums and is back in the studio and on stage to heat things up once more. Join brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons for a holiday concert featuring festive hits and their signature harmony that’s sure to warm your heart. West Palm Plage

West Palm Plage is one Sunday of every month near the middle docks. “Plage” is a play on words — “plage” means “beach” in French, and the event is inspired by Paris Plage, the summertime beach along the Seine River in Paris – and just picnicking in general.

It’s an informal, family-friendly gathering of an ever-expanding circle of friends and acquaintances. Bring some food and drink, relax, and just enjoy the waterfront and good company. We encourage repeat participants to personally invite one new friend. Please clean up after yourselves.
