STEAM: Drone Program – Beginner Level
The Society of the Four Arts – 2 Four Arts Plaza
Participants will learn safe drone operation, the science and engineering behind drones, aerial drone photography, industrial drone applications and the future of drones in society. Every student will be able to apply what they have learned under close supervision of certified drone flight instructors. The drone programs will start at the beginner level and once student completes the course they can sign up for the intermediate level. The class is free and is for children ages second grade and up. Sherryl oversees’ the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority engagement in Flagler Shore and the upcoming 12 for 12 project now being named “The Thoroughfare”
Sherryl previously worked at The Street Plans Collaborative, an award-winning urban planning, design, and research/advocacy firm. She also worked as an urban design instructor at Florida Atlantic University. She has also served as the Creative Director of Lejobart, artist duet, in which she has curated and managed large-scale public art projects.
She has worked on an array of community engagement projects in West Palm Beach that use Tactical Urbanism demonstration techniques and processes for community-led interventions, alleyway restorations, and parklet studies, such as C’est la Via, Sistrunk’s Story Share, the Megaphone, and the Street Balcony Pilot Project.

Explore downtown West Palm Beach’s history during an interactive Walking History Tour on the first and third Saturday, October through April!
